It's Not The Water. It's The Impact.
Thrown in loose, a sneaker takes the full force of the drum for the whole cycle — hard soles and buckles slamming against glass and metal, the shoe absorbing the same impact right back.
Seraveo's mesh shell takes that impact instead, with a self-locking zipper built to stay shut through the tumble, not work loose like a standard one.
Seraveo vs. Washing Loose
Same wash cycle, completely different outcome for your shoes. Loose in the drum, sneakers take the full hit every rotation. Zipped into Seraveo, they ride through untouched.

FAQs
What's In The Box
Every order includes 2 Seraveo LockTight Wash Bags — enough to run both pairs through the same cycle without them touching. Each bag is made from a durable chenille-textured shell with a reinforced mesh end cap and a self-locking zipper, so there's nothing extra to buy or assemble. Just load, zip, and wash.
Will It Fit My Shoe Size?
The bag is built to hold one shoe per compartment comfortably, and stretches to fit most adult sneakers, running shoes, kids' shoes, and cleats without straining the seams. If you're washing a pair with cleats or hardware, the mesh shell keeps studs and buckles from catching on other laundry in the drum.
Very large boots or oversized athletic shoes (think size 13+ or bulky winter boots) may fit snugly — the zipper will still close, but there's less cushioning room around the shoe. For everyday sneakers and casual shoes, sizing isn't something you need to think about.
Care Tips
Wash on a normal or delicate cycle, cold or warm water, with a regular laundry sheet or detergent. Avoid hot water and heavy-duty/bulky cycles, since high heat and aggressive agitation can be harder on your shoes' materials and adhesives regardless of what bag they're in.
Once the cycle finishes, take the shoes out of the bag and let them air dry — skip the dryer for the shoes themselves, as heat can warp soles and weaken glued seams. The bag itself can be reused hundreds of times; if it starts to smell or look dingy, a quick rinse and air dry brings it back.
Always check your specific shoe manufacturer's care label first — suede, leather, and some mesh synthetics may need a gentler approach than a standard machine wash, bag or no bag.
Will This Damage My Washing Machine?
That's the point of the bag — it keeps hard soles, buckles, and laces contained so they don't bang against the drum. We still recommend a normal or delicate cycle, not heavy-duty.
Can I Put It In The Dryer Too?
Check your shoe manufacturer's care instructions first — many sneakers should air dry rather than tumble dry, regardless of the bag. The bag itself can handle a dryer cycle if needed.
How Many Shoes Fit In One Bag?
One pair per bag is the safest fit. Each order includes 2 bags, so you can wash two pairs at once without them touching.
Does The Zipper Actually Stay Locked?
Yes — that's the main upgrade over a standard mesh laundry bag. The self-locking mechanism is built specifically to resist the tumbling motion that pops regular zippers open mid-wash.
